Davis Island Yacht Club (DIYC) is pleased to host the 2012 Melges 24 Invitational
Regatta. This event will be the first event in a two part series at DIYC (each scored
separately) that encourages boats to come and race the winter Melges 24 Class series
in the Southeast. This event will include 7 races run over Saturday and Sunday.
Our fleet has planned casual socials after the skippers meeting and at the conclusion
of racing on Sunday. On Saturday night, we will be hosting a Shrimp Boil on the
point of the club overlooking upper Tampa Bay.
DIYC also would like to invite you back on Dec 15 and 16 for more Melges 24 racing
to coincide with our club's Keelboat Regatta. The Melges 24s will have their own
dedicated race circle and we can accommodate boats to stay between events with their
rig's up. For more information on longer term storage options after these events

The regatta is open to all boats of the Melges 24 class that meet with the obligations
of the Class Rules and their National Authority.
