Keelboat Regatta @ DIYC
Dec 2 all-day

A one day event with buoy races for spinnaker and a distance course for others.  All spinnaker boats under 30 feet on the buoy course are competing for the Frank Selph Memorial Trophy.  Frank was an avid MORC supporter and this trophy is awarded in his honor.  This event is both a DIYC and Suncoast BOTY event.  It marks the end of the fall racing schedule.

Lighted Boat Parade
Dec 23 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

The Lighted Boat Parade will be held on 23 December 2017. Entry fee of $25 will benefit the Friends of the River Walk. Friends of the Riverwalk is a nonprofit organization working in tandem with the City of Tampa to transform downtown’s waterfront into an active, pedestrian friendly environment for commerce, transportation, entertainment and fitness — all to enhance the city center. The web site is: https://thetampariverwalk.com/activities/ lighted-boat-parade/.  Please designate your boat as a sailboat on the registration under the order notes field.

We will leave at 1830 in procession from the Club by the boat entry number, and meet at 1915 at the start point on the channel (Head of Seddon Channel). Contact Lee Burstiner (leeburstiner@gmail.com) for further information.
